The New Red Settlement Vertical Suburbia is an urban environment on the edge of Vienna, embodying a part of a polycentric city. A city characterized by temporality and the redistribution of functionalities that apply to the contemporary inhabitant and that can compete with the extreme conditions of the urban periphery. By questioning the land ownership and the creation of a new type of togetherness, the proposal is developed out of the context and its specific relation to the city. A project that creates a new climate-responsive urbanism, by rethinking the contemporary use of land and densification of the built environment.
